The ultimate comfort food lasagna, with layers of rich homemade meat sauce, creamy béchamel sauce , noodles , cheese and fresh mozzarella.

Lasagna is one of the most popular of current trending foods on earth. It is simple, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. It is enjoyed by millions every day. They are fine and they look wonderful. Lasagna is something which I have loved my whole life.

The ingredients needed to make Lasagna:
  1. Make ready 1 lb ground beef
  2. Get 2-1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  3. Make ready 1 container (15 oz) part skim ricotta cheese
  4. Take 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  5. Get 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  6. Take 1 egg beaten
  7. Take 1 jar (24 oz) pasta sauce
  8. Get 1 cup water
  9. Get 12 lasagna noodles

Steps to make Lasagna:
  1. Heat oven to 350°f
  2. Brown meat in large skillet on med-high heat.
  3. In separate bowl mix 1-1/4 cups Motz, ricotta, 1/4 cup Parmesan, parsley and egg until blended
  4. Drain meat and return to skillet. Stir in Pasta sauce and add the 1 cup of water to the jar, shake and add to meat.
  5. Spread 1 cup of meat mixture to bottom of pan
  6. Top with noodles. Add 1/3 of the ricotta cheese mixture and 1 cup meat sauce. Repeat.
  7. Bake 1 hour or until heated through, removing foil after 45 minutes. Let stand 15min before severing.

Gladly, there was no cottage or ricotta cheese to speak of. Lasagna Bolognese is a typical dish of Emilia Romagna, in particular of the city of Bologna. In Italy Lasagna Bolognese is a typical Sunday lunch dish or the main course for festivities and anniversaries. Classic Lasagna is great for feeding a crowd, and also freezes well for new mom meals and quick thaw dinners.
